Prémoulé is the heir to a long tradition of family-owned woodworking and construction businesses in Quebec City since 1905. For the last century, the Deslauriers family has shaped Quebec City by its important constructions that still make the city landscape. Of its modest beginning, Prémoulé has become the leader in the manufacturing of doors, countertops and components today.

1991 | During a tradeshow in Germany, Prémoulé discovers a new product : a cabinet door made of MDF covered with a thermoplastic film. Sensing a good business opportunity, the company invests in a laminating press. Thermo door production increases astoundingly and allows the company to expand its complementary product line : moldings, light valences, wine racks, appliances panels, etc. |

2001 | Prémoulé opens a second manufacturing plant for thermoplastic doors in Hawkesbury, Ontario. |

2004 | Prémoulé becomes one of the owner of Centre du comptoir Sag-Lac in Alma, Québec. |

2005 | Prémoulé becomes the owner of Royal Excellence Doors, makers of solid wood doors, in Prince-Edward Island. |

2006 | Prémoulé buys Ouellet Doors and Mouldings in Baie-Comeau, another solid wood doors business. |
